OK--BooMama got me to re-enter the blog world! Yay! She is having a DipTacular party today. Definitely the best blog party I've ever heard of! I am sharing two dip recipes. Both are easy and taste amazing!

Bacon & Tomato Dip--hands down, the easiest dip ever! (Next to Hidden Valley!)

1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayo
1 package real bacon bits (I usually use Hormel.)
3 roma tomatoes, chopped

Mix the sour cream, mayo & bacon bits and chill overnight. About 30 minutes-1 hour before serving, add the chopped tomatoes. To. Die. For.

Cucumber Dill Dip

1 pkg. (8oz.) cream cheese
1 cup mayo
2 medium cucumbers, peeled, seeded & chopped
2 tbsp. chopped green onion (I use my kitchen scissors!)
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. snipped fresh or 1/2 tsp. dried dillweed
1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce

Beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients until well blended. Chill for 3 hours. Delectable.

BTW, thanks for all the encouraging comments over my last post. Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't have gotten so upset over the experience, but then I see another new post and the wound is reopened. But I am moving on. I am currently in the process of getting my two little guys back into the swing of things i.e. school! My oldest began Kindergarten last week, and my youngest begins his final year of preschool next week. Once all that settles, I am going to be getting into some fun projects in their bedrooms, and in our kitchen--again! I just may be taking on my first tiling project--wish me luck! Glad to be back!
