Jacob was finally old enough to help us decide on this theme, and it wasn't that tough of a decision. He was soooo into construction trucks by this time. I didn't want to do a Bob the Builder character theme, so we did just a general construction theme. Another indoor January birthday party to plan! Treat bags were easy--we gave all the little construction workers a hard hat and a brown lunch sack (filled with toys, candy, and of course a little Tonka truck!) Orange and yellow were our colors for decorations--including caution tape! This time our sugar cookies were bulldozers. Throw in some construction vehicles, road signs and orange cones, and we had a party! As you can see in the last few years of party pics, we also have a tradition of decorating the mantel with pics of the birthday boy!
