Trees, Trees, Trees!

I love Christmas trees. We have eight of various sizes and themes throughout our house. Five of those are under three feet though! I am showing you the three larger trees today.

The first tree is the main tree, which is in our living room. It has no theme whatsoever! But it holds many precious memories of Christmases past on its branches.

My Dad was given this angel at age 10. It is 62 years old!
This is the second year that it's been on my tree.

My Holly Hobbie ornament from my childhood.

We have quite a growing collection of handmade
ornaments from our boys--cherished ornaments already!

My mom bought these booties in the hospital gift shop,
on the day our first son was born.

A real book--another ornament from my childhood.

A new addition this year--our church building. Love this one.

I love the ornaments that evoke sweet memories.

My baby boy's first Christmas.

One of my most precious ornaments. I painted this one myself.
This is when and where my husband proposed.
Inside are sand and shells from the beach, from that day.
Priceless.

Next is our "Travel Tree," in our dining room.
It is filled with ornaments we buy in gift shops when we travel.
Some are gorgeous, some are not!
A lot of them are brass, like this one . . .

Attractive or not, these ornaments are a wonderful
reminder of great times, spent together.

Last but not least, our Disney tree, complete with a monorail around the bottom. When we realized that about half of the ornaments on our main tree were Disney-related, we knew what we would be doing with that white tree that we got 90% off at Target after Christmas! 90% off! I love how this one has come together.

Thanks for stopping by! Please check out all the other trees at Thrifty Decor Chick. She's having a tree party!
